Carter von Kern is an 8 week old delightful Golden Retriever mix puppy (our best guess). Our volunteer was at the shelter to pick up a shepherd when she walked by Carter's cage and saw these beautiful eyes watching and following her every move. She was told Carter has been there for too long (which at this shelter is about a week) and he was running out of time. Of course our volunteer scooped him up and he is now in a foster home with a doting foster mommy. Carter is an affectionate, friendly little dude, not to mention beautiful. We want to find him the best home possible where he will be spoiled for the rest of his life after such a rough start. Once you meet and pick up Carter, you will never want to put him down again!
